Winter WonderlandIn Chinese astrology, your zodiac sign is based on the year of your birth rather than on your birth day, as it is in Western astrology. A different zodiac of twelve animals welcomes the beginning of every Lunar New Year. This year, LunarFest and the World Taiwanese Lantern Association have collaborated to create 12 big mobile zodiac lanterns. In honour of 2010, these fabric lanterns will give the tradition a new twist by playfully reenacting winter sports for the first time ever. How do they do it? Come and see at Richmond’s O Zone. Who knew that Tiger loves to curl, or that Rabbit skates? Welcome the Year of the Tiger and the arrival of the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Winter Games, and find out what sport your zodiac sign plays.
