Having Trouble Scanning?
We want to present your drawing the best we can!
If you are having trouble with scanning your drawing, ask your teacher to help.
If you're asking questions like: The black isn't black? Colours seem to vanish? White feels "dirty"? Here are some tips to help correct scanning mistakes:
- The first thing is to scan the artwork in preview mode. This way you are able to see how your scanner is calibrated.
- Always use a minimum resolution of 300dpi because it gives a better definition without making the drawing too big.
- Adjust the "brightness" and "contrast" until you find a reasonable setting to your original drawing.
