How to Participate

Step 1

Let's register! Start by clicking here to create an account.

Step 2

You will be assigned a Lantern ID to write on your drawing.

Step 3

Now, download one of the drawing box templates below and print it out on ordinary Letter (8.5" x 11") size paper.

Step 4

Draw about your cultural heritage or how you will protect the environment!

Step 5

Remember! Do not draw outside of the box.

Step 6

Make sure you write down your Lantern ID on the drawing! Do not write your name!

Step 7

Submit the drawing to your school teacher, or by mail to TCCS by Decmeber 9, 2009 and you're done!

Drawings sent by mail needs to be postmarked by December 9, 2009! (* Don't fold your drawing!)

Remember to come back on January 8, 2010 to check out your design among thousands from Canada and Taiwan, and see if yours is chosen to be made into a lantern!

Chosen drawings will be transferred onto lanterns which will be hung to create the Lantern Forest. All participants will receive a certificate of participation from LunarFest, presented with Cultural Olympiad.
